Terms of service
The agreement between Usedkit and a shop that uses it. Short, because the service is simple. In force from 13 October 2026.
1. Who
Usedkit is run by Pyry Savela, a private person in Finland (“we”). Contact: [email protected]. The service is for businesses: by signing up, you confirm you act for a shop (“you”), not as a consumer.
2. The service
The Usedkit WordPress plugin, free software under the GPL, and the hosted service it connects to: matching your products to customers waiting for a model, the emails to those customers, market prices and the weekly summary. What the plugin does inside your own WordPress, such as margin-scheme VAT figures, is a tool for you: check its results, and your tax treatment, with your accountant.
3. Your key and your use
- Keep your API key secret; what is done with it counts as done by you.
- Customers are added only through the sign-up forms the plugin shows, where they confirm by email. Do not import address lists or add people who did not ask.
- Products you send must be your own listings. No unlawful goods, no use of the service to send anything other than what it is built for.
- Mention Usedkit in your shop's privacy policy as a processor of the notify-me sign-ups.
4. Price
Free during early access. Before any charge applies we tell you the price by email at least 30 days ahead; nothing is charged unless you then choose a paid plan.
5. Personal data
For your customers' data, you are the controller and we are your processor. The data processing agreement is part of these terms. How we handle your own account data: privacy.
6. Availability
We run the service with care and fix faults promptly, but during early access it comes as it is, without a guarantee of availability. If the service is down, your shop keeps working: product changes are sent again in the nightly sync.
7. Liability
Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost sales or profit. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; during free early access that is nothing. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow it.
8. Ending
Either side can end the agreement at any time: you by removing the plugin and telling us, we by telling you by email at least 30 days ahead (at once if the terms are misused). When it ends we delete your shop's data and your customers' data within 30 days; backups age out within 14 days after that.
9. Changes
We tell you of changes to these terms by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not accept them, you can end the agreement before they do.
10. Law
Finnish law applies. Disputes are settled in the Finnish courts, starting with the district court of the operator's home municipality, unless we agree otherwise.
